Why we buy local: We believe that the best ingredients make the best dishes. Everything has to be perfect, our tomatoes are locally grown and have to be picked when ripe to get the full Mexican flavor. That applies for everything we serve from jalapenos to lettuce and freshly shredded cheese.

Our food is simply delicious. Part of this is because of our locally picked ingredients, always ripe and juicy. The other half is because of our passion for cooking. Our small family business is determined and motivated to serve you the best tasting menu as possible. And remember: If we don't have something on the menu- but we have the ingredients? We'll make it!

After 40 year of experience in the food, beverage and service industry, we decided to open our first restaurant in Los Angeles, California back in 1986, in which soon expanded into a nightclub. This led to additional locations throughout California in Manhattan Beach and Hollywood. Now, for eight years we have lived in Maryland and opened two locations in the Kentlands. Personally, we love the neighborhood, but we still bring back and recall the great memories from The Golden State.
